The EDGE 1® has an exclusive "tank within a tank" system allowing your compact EDGE to have increased capacity (13 gallon solution / 15 gallon waste). Heater cartridges are inserted into the center of 6 pound aluminum heat exchanger for maximum efficiency. Heater cartridges can be replaced without having to replace the entire unit. Heater(s) are thermostatically controlled to 190 degrees with auxiliary thermostat for high limit safety shut-off. Components are covered by an insulated housing for added protection. Preheat: Three models are available with this option - the 100-5, 200-5 and the 300-5. These units provide the operator with the ability to preheat the clean solution tank. For maximum efficiency it is recommended that the clean solution tank always be filled with the hottest tap water available. Using the pump and both heaters will preheat the tank at a rate of approximately 1 1/2 degrees per minute. For example, while vacuuming, spotting and moving furniture prior to cleaning, a 20 minute preheat would raise the solution temperature by approximately 30 degrees. Serviceability: All EDGE models open like a "clam shell" for easy access to components. Components can be easily replaced with a few simple tools in a very short time. Components utilize a plug in system for wiring so each component can be easily unplugged and replaced, leaving no doubt as to how to reconnect wires. Pricing Warranty |
